Have you ever wondered how artists get that full synth sound

I have many times wonder how artis like Yanni, jan Hammer, Jean Michel Jarre get that full sound.

Also i heard Kygo also used this way to make his sound.

After an interview with Yanni i now so the light .

Let us see this clip.

And he trick is to use many sound together. Or like yanni many synth in the same time.

I can not effort same synth collecton as Yanni.
But what can i do.
Well i can use Kontakt 5. And there we can use mulit instument.

How do we do that?

Mulit instrument is when you load  man NKI at the same time,but if you do normally.Then you only get 1 sound.

The reason is when you load first instument and the second instruemt then you getit like this.

See Midi Ch 1 then Midi ch 2.

If you do like this only 1 instrumet play when you hit the keyboard.


So what to do?

By change all Midi Ch to same channel, In here all is Midi ch 1.
Then we have done same as Yanni. And we get a much better sound.

Also i save my presets for later.

So go up

Files - Save Multi as, and name you new sound.

When you wnt to use it just make your own folder for your preset. 

And then when you wan to use just go load  Files - Load and find your preset.

I can only say one thing, OHHHH  my GOD.

I am an ok guy. But i will share my view on how to find woman.

Use a nice photo where you dress nice. Dark Color on a shirt work best.

Choose color that you feel really good in. I like to use purple or dark blue.Dark gray.

If you choose a tie then not to much color.

What i wonder aboutis it possible to use and templetes from fl studio 11 into fl studio 12.

The templetes is stored here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 11\Data\Projects\Templates

The reason is i want to have pattern block in fl studio 12.

The biggest reason for me to not upgaded to fl studio 12, is that there is no pattern mode in 12.


And why this was changed in Fl studio  is a mystery.I  like the look of flstudio 12 . But if there is no choice of pattern block i will never upgrade to fl studio 12.

Synth1 Vst - How to change color

Synth1 is oe of the best vst that is out there. But like many others say t look really lame.

But i think the color i got on mine looked littlebit better then the original.

So how do you change color on Synth1.

Use Wav files as a sound in FL studio

Did you downoad a sound and think, oh that sound have been cool to use on my midi keyboard?
And when youtry the sound is the same on every key on the midi keyboard.

Also some sounds do not sound good if you do that.

Well i found a way.
 

 It is  an Pad sound from a synth pack.

I have here a sound i want to use on my midi.

But when i play it it is same sound how i fix that.

 I have found that if i play with this, then i get some amazing sounds.

Drum Machine sounds and use them into Fl studio

I uses same from old drum machine in FL Studio.How do i use it.

Well i make a folder called Drum machines. And add that folde into FL Studio.

You add by going to Option - file settings.

Then you will get a folder on the left side in FL studio
 I called mine

In here i have all samples.
And i have almost all drum machines in the world.
And i can add the sampleby draging them out like this.

And then by click on keyboard right side, you can change the tone of the sound.
See thw orange on the keyboard. This is "original sound" But you can chanel it to and sound like high tone or deep tone.


You can also use them in the piano roll

The great thing is when i take a sound from one drum machine and mix it with another drum machine.

Sometimes i use tottaly 15 drum machine in the same time.

To find drum machine sounds, just search on drum machine sample or drum machine sounds.Aownload the sounds an use them in fl studio.

I then use the orignal drum machine into flstudio.And old sounds are sweet. Just check these sounds

I love all synth, but how to get them today. And also they are big and for us that is not ful of money and have storage there is only a dream.

Until now!

I found a way to make me have all synth. By download the orginal wav files you can use all those sounds on you FL studio and your midi controller.

This document i will add thing as i find things or synth that you all would like to use.
And then i will make an colletion of sounds you can use.

How to use wav files an you piano role

I wanted to use an old synth, but only found some wav files.

Nexus and Arturia Minilab - Knobs

Today i will this knobs work together

 

 The key to it all is here

 

So let us try.

1. I Click on Generators 

2.Then this picture come up. This is all knobs that Nexus has. And we need to fix this to work for my keyboard.

3. So here we go. Move the knob you would like to add to the keyboard (With the mouse) Let us say Cutoff on Nexus.

We do this to find out where the knob is on the list above.

Then this happen

fmodcut move inside(See)

This is our knob we need to fix to our keyboard.

4. Right click on fmodcut , and you get this picture

5. Select Override generic link, then this picture come up

 6. Now it is time to choose knob to use on your keyboard. I choose the second one near 6.

 7. Move that knob. And we are done.

If your knob act strange. Then the settings in Arturia MIDI Control Center is wrong. It need to be Medium . NOT FAST.

Put then into medium and sync the settings to Arturia Analog Lab. 


So lets try to do this in Kontakt 
Well you will see fast that this not work at all.

So how do we do that.

Well Kontakt has an own meny. Go to Auto in Kontakt.

Then hold left button on then mouse here #001 and i drag it to Volum knob

 Then #001 will change to not assigned to

Then we need to go as before .And now you see we have some name on this list.

 Right click on the knob



 Move you knob on the keyboard. and we are done
It seems that the settings not get saved .


So you need to do like this every time.

Arturia Analog Lab - My notebook on things - How to make Arturia Analog Lab work in Fl Studio

My keyboard is Arturia Analog Lab.

So i wanted to make some notes on my blogg, about this keyboard. I will edit this as i learn along.

So who use Arturia Keyboard. Well Moby showed his studio on his facebook this week. And there you clearly see he uses Arturia.

I am using an Ipad as an drum machine. And i use other software that i will show as we go along .


First here is some videos.

 

I found out that a really importen issue is use the keys in Fl studio.

And i never installed all software. Because i am like all men " i know all hehe" and never read any manual.

 MIDI Control Center

This is how you get the keys to work under Fl Studio.

See "cutoff and emphasis"

This will never work if you  not install MIDI Control Center in Fl Studio.

And Arturia support do not understand how to do this. 

After long time i found this out by myself.

The next is to make this link to controller i fl studio.

FL Studio tutorial explaining how to use an external MIDI controller

I love all synth. And one that is really hard to come over is NI Kore.When i need that extra in a tune. Then a start up Kore. But as it is hard to install under new OS. I will not give you this know how here.

In my example.

here is my start

I add a tone in first level. Then i add a bass. Analoglab 3 i want to add some more .

Then i Use Kore 2.Why because it is amazing.

I add this in pattern 1

I do not know why but after i installed MIDI Control Center, then the settings changed to this.

 Before it was only Arturia minilab.

But now i am able to use all knob in my keyboard. 

Something that i learn is this

 By click on this and choose the tone see the two tone in orange.

Then you can make some really nice drum effekt.

 

 This also is possible to tune

And the sound is amazing

 

 So this is possible to makeautmation clip on.And we can link to controller and let the sound change as we go along.

Arturia Analog Lab 2 Tutorial

  

The problem with Arturia Minilab is:

If you not start up MIDI Control Center first then no knob will work under FL studio.

1. Start up MIDI Control Center - Press sync
2. Start up Fl Studio
3. Start up Arturia Plugins
4. Now it should work

If this is not done i have found out that all knobs are useless in Fl Studio.

But there is also problem here. Sometimes i found out that this picture not come

 

Under Arturia minilab it should say sync 1. But many times it comes with FAIL.

Then nothing work.

I have found out that if i sync again and restart FL Studio then all working. 

There must be something that is connected to input port.

Because if input port is ---

Then nothing

When i changed this to : 0 , then knobs worked

So to make Arturia Minilab work under FL Studio then you need

Input port til be same as:

and to sync the controller with MIDI Control Center


The next that i need to find out is how to make all knobs work under different VST then Arturia.


And i belive FL Guru has the answer in his video above

Well Fl Guru was right. Now i got my Arturia Analog Lab working under Harmless.



But there was a problem
The knob act strange.




Under MIDI Control Center

Here is the solution

Change it medium

Override generic link choose a knob you would like to use on Arturia Analog Lab.

I just chose Cutoff knob to handle Frekvens in Harmless.

But remember that in MIDI Control Center
the settings need to be medium

This might be the trick to have other VST handled by Arturia keyboard

And what i always wanted to do, has now been fixed.

A small autmation clip and now , well see video above.

So now for badly behaved VST

We want to use the knob on Arturia in other VST

But problem is that some is not so easy to - Override generic link on

So here is how

 1. Go to Current project - Generators

2.Fruity Wrapper

3.Here is the selection of knobs that your VST has. And we need to sort out what knob is to what.

4. Select same as before, but this time click on target interface list

5.

6. The select Override generic link

Tweek the knob that you want on your kontroller and you are done.

So with this lets try to see if Arturia is possible to use cutoff

To find the knob in in the list that you want to use in Nexus.

Just move it.

Then i Selected Override generic link  and moved cutoff on Arturia keyboard. And yess we have a lift off.
